LitSnacks is the place to find stories that are more than a mouthful and less than a grand banquet. Too short for printing as a novel to be cost-effective and too long to be published as a short story, "snacklit" makes for an ideal e-book. They're brief diversions, perfect for some quick reading before bed or work, or when filling time while you're waiting at the doctor's office or airport, or during the interlude of a flight when electronic devices are allowed.

The original stories offered for sale here are all in the neighborhood of 100 pages or less and available for two dollars or less. Some may be stand-alone stories, like a traditional novella, but many are part of a larger story or series that, taken in total, may make a respectably-sized book.

Our first offering, The Gift of the Bad Guy, will debut in March of 2011, with others to follow.
